NY Mets - My Favorite Squadron!
Last weekend we were fortunate enough to get tickets to see the Mets! The Mets and the Yankees are the two major league baseball teams in NYC and while the Yankees tend to be much better players the Mets fans are more dedicated so it all kind of evens out. The Mets used to play at the incredibly famous Shea Stadium but recently it was torn down and replaced by the brand new CitiField Stadium.
Our seats were in the Mr Met section, where the Mets mascot came by and handed out t-shirts and posed for pictures with the kids. The view was pretty good and the seats were only $20, which was a steal!
His giant baseball head makes him one of the most adorable mascots in major league baseball!
In the end the Mets lost (which wasn't unexpected) but we still had a great time. Best of luck next time guys!
